Job description

Job Title: Project Coordinator I

Location: Brampton, ON

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: July 2026

The Project Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the project team to achieve quality results in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Support LTC filing for community expansion projects.
  2. Support and execute design decisions for pipeline construction drawings.
  3. Lead multiple pipeline projects and designs for end-to-end project management.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute community expansion projects.
  5. Support and lead scoping and creating scoping decision records to manage records effectively.
  6. Support and execute line picks, surveys, SUE work, CCI, Kerotest Valves, pipeline conditioning, and complete tasks as required.
  7. Create and manage Maximo work orders and prerequisites to assist construction in pipeline installation.
  8. Manage Maximo attachments, PCFs, governance forms, revision markups, etc.
  9. Manage internal and external approval processes (OTP).
  10. Support field changes and create high-quality sketches for permitting and approval purposes.
  11. Request purchase orders and support the ordering of long lead items.
  12. Conduct pre-work and gather information to update forecasts, requiring field time and some experience.
  13. Cross-train between project management, design, and sales units.
  14. Assist with logging customer survey information and communication.
MUST HAVE Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or related bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-4 years of experience in pipeline operations and/or engineering environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, GIS, planning, and records is an asset.
  • Experience from departments like Construction, M&R, Corrosion, Leak Survey, Engineering, AR&I is beneficial.
  • Understanding of codes, standards, and regulations impacting design analysis and capital expenditure.
NICE TO HAVE Qualifications
  • Project management certification or experience.
  • Knowledge of Maximo, e-GIS, planning, and records.
  • Familiarity with Planning, Design & Records, Operation & Maintenance, and Construction policies and procedures.
