Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Toronto is seeking a Project Control Officer/Project Coordinator for a 1-year hybrid contract. The ideal candidate will assist in project tracking, documentation, and reporting for a medium-large scale SAP implementation. Applicants must have strong skills in MS Excel and MS Projects, and be available to work onsite 3 days a week.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Project Control Officer (PCO) or Project Coordination (PC) roles.
  • Proven work experience in SAP implementations.
  • Ability to manage time and resources effectively.

Job description

PrecisionERP / ITis recruiting for a Project Control Officer / Project Coordinator for an SAP project.This will be a1 year HYBRID contractassignment with 3 days working onsite here in Toronto, ON. MUST be strong with MS Excel & MS Projects and experience with medium-large scale SAP implementations.

The PCO assists the IT business relationship management team to manage Project Tracking & Reporting, updating and management of project plans, and follow up of milestones and activities with relevant stakeholders.

DUTIES :

  • Draft detailed meeting minutes capturing key decisions and actions
  • Follow-up and track key project activities and milestones
  • Maintain a comprehensive and organized project Teams site with relevant and up to date project files and information
  • Efficiently manage and track the project and prepare timely and accurate status reports
  • Coordinate with the various Project Managers and Program Manager to ensure the project tracking is up to date

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Project Control Officer (PCO) or Project Coordination (PC)
  • Proven work experience as a PCO or PC within the context of anSAP implementation
  • Effectively manage time, resources and sometimes conflicting, priorities
  • MUST have Computer Skills required : MS Projects, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Works well juggling multiple deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • MUST be able to work (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home) in order to apply for position
