POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator will deliver capital projects on time and within budget, coordinating planning, design, budgeting, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking deliverables, and assisting with scope, schedule, and budget management. The role requires experience in project management within architecture, design, mechanical, or electrical fields, with excellent communication skills.

The Coordinator reports to the Senior Project Manager and collaborates with hospital departments, government entities, vendors, etc., to ensure project success. Current projects include systems upgrades, infrastructure renewals, energy initiatives, and departmental expansions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Planning: Develop project scope, budget, schedule, and resources; assist with risk assessments and stakeholder alignment.
  • Project Execution: Support all phases from feasibility to handover; manage project teams and ensure compliance.
  • Technical Aspects: Use project management tools; understand hospital infrastructure; support sustainable design integration.
  • Contractual Aspects: Coordinate procurement; support contract administration and dispute resolution.
  • Budget & Change Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage changes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as main contact; provide updates; facilitate collaboration.
  • Quality & Performance: Implement quality controls; conduct site inspections; address deviations.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports; maintain project documentation; utilize reporting software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, or related; or equivalent experience.
  • CAPM or similar certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years in project management, especially construction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • Criminal Record Check required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and relationship-building skills.
