We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our team. This dual role involves supporting the Project Managers structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from start to finish, as well as supporting and preparing accurate cost estimates. This position is based out of our facility in Nisku, AB.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Coordinate and support structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, fabricators, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.

  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in project coordination and estimating, preferably in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals Commercial, and Light industrial industry.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

  • Proficiency in project management and estimating software and tools.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Experience with TEKLA PowerFab is an asset.
