Project Technologist/Project Coordinator

Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

Calgary, AB

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Technologist/Coordinator to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Calgary Office.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

A Day in the life of a Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Conduct historical and regulatory research
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical reports
  • Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites and the sampling of soil, groundwater, and vapour
  • Liaise with subcontractors
  • Support project scope development and implementation
  • Work in both self-led and team environments
  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives
  • Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science
  • 1 to 5 years related experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, along with problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
