The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board serves approximately 12,000 students, employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff, and covers a geographical area of more than 16,000 square kilometers (Whitney in the North, Picton in the South, Trenton in the West, and Kingston in the East). The Project Coordinator, Energy Systems coordinates and monitors existing mechanical and electrical building systems, develops preventative maintenance and energy management strategies, assists with implementation of various capital, renewal, and energy management projects, and prepares reports, logs, catalogues, and presentations.

Approaches all work done within ALCDSB as being part of a larger system that is inter-related with strategic plans. Understands that work done in one part of ALCDSB impacts a variety of groups inside and outside of the Board.
