What you can expect to do here:

  • Support CMS Construction Managers, Subconsultants, Project Controller and WSP team as needed.
  • Ensure that all invoices and backup are accurate, detailed and complete. Timely generate custom invoices and submit for payment.
  • Ensure any billing process inquiries are managed quickly and accurately.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide details to the Project Controller.
  • Be familiar with MOTT contracts, budgets, processes, project delivery and the role CMS plays.
  • Assist Construction Managers with compiling data required for Estimates, Budgets, as well as administrative tasks as required.
  • Track WSBC clearance letters for our subconsultants.
  • Organize, correctly name and file project and financial documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the Construction Manager, Project Controller and CMS team.
  • Self-direct time & tasks for accuracy & completion in a timely fashion.
  • Be supported and trained by the Project Controller and will provide leave coverage for the Project Controller.
  • Gain knowledge in CMS project deliverables and in ensuring charges are accurately passed on to the client.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in WSP ERP Oracle Horizon.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in managing construction costs, schedule and quality to ensure projects are completed successfully and to the Owner's satisfaction.
  • Gain knowledge in the operations and services provided by the CMS Department as well as various other WSP departments.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets & Pivot Tables.
  • Must be organized, efficient and confident with an ability in utilizing MS Office suite of products.
  • Must be a positive, team-oriented and a creative thinker who likes a challenge.
  • Must have strong English writing and oral communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 BC Drivers License and Clean Driving Abstract.

Compensation:

Salary range (in British Columbia): $53,100 - $73,000.

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
