Job description

We are currently seeking a new Project Coordinator, Co-op to join our Project Management Office team in Burnaby or Toronto.

Applicants should be available for an 8-month co-op period from Jan 2026 - August 2026. We will be accepting applications in October.

What your team does:

The Project Management Office (PMO) team leads high impact, cross-functional initiatives aimed at growing and transforming the business. We are involved in all aspects of a project life cycle including supporting the strategic vision, managing execution, leading change management strategies, reporting strategies, and long-term success. In collaboration with the other strategic teams (Strategic Planning, Customer Insights, and Data Insights) we are the gears that reliably keep projects running on time and keep the business growing.

What you'll work on:

  • You'll work on the Project Management Office team and gain access and visibility into Clio's largest projects and long term business strategy.
  • You'll partner with functional leaders to understand project targets and help achieve business goals.
  • You'll partner with Project Managers on major cross-functional projects and lead smaller initiatives independently. This work could include:
    • Meeting with project teams to check on progress and status of project work - ensuring individuals and teams complete project tasks on time
    • Tracking a variety of moving project pieces; such as action items, meeting minutes, decisions, timelines, and risks
    • Drafting and maintaining project documents and spreadsheets
    • Maintaining project tracking tools like Asana
    • Preparing regular project status reports
  • Help develop project management best practices at Clio.
    • Contribute to project playbooks and develop project templates
    • Maintain the Business Operations and project management wiki
    • Additional administrative support as required
What you have:
  • A learning mindset and an enthusiasm for trying new things

  • Excellent writing and clear communication skills
  • Experienced with gantt charts, spreadsheet management, or project management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Asana)
  • Ability to facilitate meetings while taking highly detailed meeting notes
  • Have good stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Have a ingenuity and the ability to figure things out independently
  • Have a keen eye for details and the ability to spot gaps and risks
  • Have a high level of understanding and empathy
  • Have a data mindset (general data literacy and the ability to interpret dashboards)
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI
