Job description

Our client, a well-established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and roadworks, is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for a new earthworks and utilities project near Edmonton, starting in September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, procurement, and document control for site operations.
  • Support coordination between site superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
  • Track progress, update project reports, and assist with issue resolution.
  • Help manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in civil construction.
  • Familiarity with earthworks and underground utilities; experience on industrial or large-scale infrastructure projects is an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office; experience with project scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
