Job description

LandSolutions is actively engaged in all areas of land access, including Power (Generation and Transmission), Public Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas (Upstream and Midstream), and Telecommunications. Our expert level service and subject matter experts are well-established across Canada and the United States.

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for communication to client, land team and updates to Project
  • Responsible for modeling professionalism to other members of the LS Staff and the management team, ensuring company ethics and conduct are promoted.
  • Responsible for providing support and coordination of land deliverables and project timelines with the Project Manager.
  • Assist land team with expertise and guidance related to administration duties, acquisition and / or anything else that is field related.
  • preparing Crown applications for disposition.
  • identifying interested parties and determining impacted stakeholders according to provincial regulations.
  • preparing and distributing RCNR & RHE project specific information according to project type.
  • preparing and distributing documentation for First Nation pre-engagement processes
  • compiling all correspondence and prepare logs.
  • Assist with complex files and provide solutions to meet client
  • Assist with evaluation of new initiatives, procedures, to define opportunities for improvements.
  • Responsible for preparing and auditing final packages for the
  • Responsible for accurate internal project set-up through LandTraxx, SharePoint and BigTime.
  • Responsible for the accurate invoice data implemented into BigTime and accurate approval of
  • Ensure third party portfolio is managed accordingly and active follow-ups take
  • Responsible for auditing of acquisition documents, line lists, third party requests and final packages utilizing the QA / QC policies and checklist to maintain compliance and accuracy in accordance with the applicable regulations and client expectations.
  • Conducts daily communications with management and land team in accordance with LandSolutions Inc Core Values and Operating Principals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Support the training and development of team members relating to industry regulations, LandSolutions processes, procedures and systems to ensure a high level of competency and adherence to best practices.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land with a focus on BC upstream and midstream
  • experience with iMapBC / ILRR / GATOR / LTSA / BCOnline required
  • knowledge of all types of AMS and FLNRO applications
  • liaise with government bodies and understand relevant knowledge of regulations that are associated with land acquisition operations such as, BCUC, BC-ER, FCBC, CER and Municipalities.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication and conflict management experience is a
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable acts, guides, and
  • Competence in Project Management methodologies, including planning, organizing and managing timelines.
  • Familiarity with GIS and land mapping
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and teams across different
  • Capability to identify and resolve issues in relation to land administration that may arise as the project develops.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving project needs and land team needs, remaining flexible and open minded.
  • Competency in using relevant software and tools for data management, document preparation and project coordinator.
