Job description

Thompson Construction Group under the Thompson Builders sector has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator in our Edmonton area of operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project administration systems and controls.
  • Track productivity on-site and maintain schedule.
  • Maintain project files and correspondence.
  • Assistance in procurement and scope creation.
  • Provide support for meetings packages and report preparation; Track and follow up on action items.
  • Developing successful relationships with current and prospective clients, consultants, realtors, and developers.
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace for all.
  • Assistance in creating budgets, estimates, and receiving pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diploma, or a combination of education and construction experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of ICI and Multi-Family Building Construction.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and project management software. Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud Software is an asset.
  • Desire for Growth: Eagerness to learn and grow, with a willingness to acquire new software skills as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
