The Yukon Liquor Corporation (YLC) strives for service excellence that supports a healthy, vibrant and prosperous Yukon. YLC is responsible for the wholesale distribution of liquor and cannabis while also operating six Yukon Liquor Corporation stores. We continuously evolve our business to improve operations and our interactions with the public and licensees. YLC also regulates legal access to liquor and cannabis in the territory. Our mission is to offer customers legal access to a variety of liquor and cannabis products while considering the wellbeing and economic prosperity of the territory.

The role….
This position, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of a wide variety of projects and services in the Operations Division. The role is responsible for project management that supports solid decision making and timely action by the Operations Management Team and their staff.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience in project management, including planning, tracking and evaluating projects in a business, retail or government setting.
- Experience drafting internal procedures, policies or written communication intended for external stakeholders.
- Experience gathering and implementing feedback from staff or stakeholders to foster continuous improvement in a business, retail or government setting.
- Experience conducting research and providing recommendations to management.
- Post secondary education in business, project management, retail management or related field would be an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment:
Class 5 Drivers licence
Job Requirements
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
