Overview

The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of multifamily construction projects, from preconstruction estimates to on-site coordination. What You Will Do

• Liaise with the Project Manager and all other technical disciplines involved
• Assist Project Manager with the overall management of multifamily construction projects.

Preconstruction

• Estimate cost and assess quantity take off
• Prepare bid documents and clear and concise scopes of work
• Prequalify vendors and subcontractors
• Maintain project cost database.

Procurement

• Develop project bid list and subcontractor notice to proceed
• Analyze contract documents and proposed subcontractor selections
• Conduct review and cost analysis of material purchase.

Construction Coordination

• Update project estimate based on review of 30/60/90 percent drawings
• Draft subcontracts
• Manage change, quantify orders, and subcontractor invoices
• Maintain budgets and cost forecasts
• Participate in post project review with key project personnel.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 2 years of construction related experience, a portion of which was directly involved in project coordination.
• Diploma, or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination or related field is an asset
• Previous experience overseeing multifamily projects is an asset
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications- eg Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings.

Salary Range

$66,500 CAD to $85,000 CAD
