Type: 6 month contract + extensions
Location: Hybrid 2-3days a week downtown Toronto
Rate: 35- 40/hr depending incorporated or not
Required Skills & Experience
· Highly Proficient Software Skills required: Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Power BI, Jira/Confluence
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
· Strong organizational and project management skills
· Works well juggling multiple deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail
· Ability to work as a team player
· Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
· An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
· Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
· Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
· BSc in Business Administration or related field
· 3-5 years experience in project coordination, project management, marketing management or related position
· Completion of post-secondary education in business or related field
Job Description
· Draft detailed but succinct meeting minutes capturing key decisions and actions covered during the weekly status
· Coordinate some high-level project activities, resources, equipment and information.
· Act as a gate keeper for the intake process ensuring relevant information has been provided by the business
· Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
· Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
· Work with the Director of PMO to eliminate blockers
· Create and maintain comprehensive project templates, documentation, plans and reports
· Draft detailed but succinct meeting minutes capturing key decisions and actions covered during the weekly status
· Prepare & distribute project status reports , project summary reports\
· Internal & External Project Related Communications
Accountabilities:
· Provide high quality and timely analysis & research that will support the team in identifying & developing new innovate products or brands to create incremental revenue opportunities. Effectively utilize all available on line & data base resources available.
· Efficiently manage and track all projects and prepare timely and accurate related status reports
· Effectively manage time, resources and sometimes conflicting, priorities
· Thoroughly proof-read presentation & communications materials in order to ensure grammatical and content accuracy
