Project Coordinator - ICI Construction - Short Term Contract

Location: Niagara Area

Salary: $30-$40/ hour

Type: Short-time, Contract (with possibility of extension)

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) construction projects. Key Responsibilities

1. Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
2. Coordinate documentation for RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
3. Manage communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
4. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
5. Conduct site visits to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in project coordination within the ICI construction sector.
2. Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to multitask effectively.
5. Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and construction best practices.
