As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers in managing multiple projects focused on the manufacturing of Low Voltage Electrical products for the Siemens Electrical Products business. The incumbent must possess strong collaboration skills, adaptability, customer centricity, and the willingness to take ownership.

More Specifically you will:

  • Manage mid to large size projects, working closely with engineering, analyzing technical specifications, single line diagrams, electrical room layouts, and designs.
  • Develop project schedules, align resources to assure smooth project execution.
  • Procure materials and monitor production activities.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, conduct risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Verify execution of the project through clean handover meetings and customer kickoff meetings.
  • Daily communication to all stakeholders and exchange technical requirements and project plan information.
  • Work with vendors across the US and Canada which includes Low Voltage distribution products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to increase productivity and achieve milestones, report on progress to internal and external stakeholders.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • PMP certification or over 2 years of experience in project coordination/management is highly desirable
  • Aptitude in managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience is an asset.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
