Salary – $58,000 - $60,000

A well-established construction firm serving government, commercial, and industrial markets is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its growing team. Known for delivering complex builds with innovative solutions, the company uses in-house trades to complete a wide range of specialized projects, including high-security environments, community centres, bridge replacements, pumping stations, and office fit-ups—both locally and internationally.
The Project Coordinator will provide essential support in organizing and executing construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors, this role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build a career in construction project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and document control.
Support procurement activities, including tracking materials and coordinating deliveries.
Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Coordinate communication between internal trades, subcontractors, and consultants.
Attend site meetings and conduct site visits to support project execution.
Monitor timelines and budgets and report any issues or delays to senior staff.
Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure projects run smoothly.
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in a construction or project coordination role is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
