Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the project management team with administrative activities, ensuring project documentation quality, stakeholder communication, and organization of project details, including stage gate reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Converting SOW/contract requirements into project schedules and plans, including estimates, resources, and target dates
  • Maintaining project documentation in line with business processes
  • Supporting the delivery of professional project documentation with attention to detail
  • Developing internal relationships across departments
  • Ensuring contractual and SOW requirements are met and delivered successfully
  • Preparing monthly milestone invoicing and status reports
  • Circulating meeting notes and actions
  • Coordinating meetings with clients and third-party vendors
  • Supporting the PMO and BizOps with special projects and ongoing project reviews

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in project management or business administration
  • At least three years of project coordination experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SaaS implementations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is an asset
  • Utilities industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with Management Information Systems (CIS, WAMS, MWM, GIS) is beneficial

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and web-based project management tools
  • Experience with PSA platforms like Kantata OX is an asset
  • Training in traditional and agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with SaaS product implementations is advantageous
