Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Project Coordinator to support day-to-day site operations and scheduling on GTA infrastructure projects. You will work with Project Superintendents, GCs, owners, and crews to organize work, maintain logs, and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating crews, drafting look-ahead schedules, and ensuring compliance with OHSA and project specs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and CAD/reading drawings skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Completed a degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a satisfactory combination of equivalent training and experience.
  • Ability to create, interpret, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specially Microsoft Excel and Word).
  • Ability to create, mark up, and modify PDF documents using Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, or Nitro PDF.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from construction drawings and contract documents.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.

  • Work closely and diplomatically with all field personnel to maximize operational harmony, productivity, and team efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal, Provincial, and local laws, including OHSA and environmental regulations.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of site safety plans, tactics, and company policies.
  • Conduct and document regular health and safety meetings on site.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent in investigating safety incidents or complaints and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring construction work schedules, including short-term 'look ahead' schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to increase production, mitigate risks, and solve operational problems on site.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to ensure project targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Project Coordinator

SUMMARY

Reporting into the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Coordinator, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and driving day-to-day site operations, scheduling, and project controls. This role plays a critical part in the delivery of vertically integrated infrastructure solutions and works closely with Project Superintendents, General Contractors, Owners, and site crews. You will be responsible for assisting in organizing crews and equipment, supervising installations, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment across all site activities.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
On-Site Operations & Execution

  • Assist the Project Superintendent in investigating safety incidents or complaints and preparing comprehensive reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Expected Base Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
