The role of the Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the LTC Standards portfolio, with a primary focus on redevelopment. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in executing all redevelopment projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to leverage their experience and expertise and make their mark through the implementation of key strategic growth initiatives.

This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario, with a hybrid working environment. Travel is required.

Accountabilities

1. Assist in coordinating and executing project activities, ensuring all project timelines and objectives are met.
2. Serve as a supporting contact for internal teams to provide updates, address issues, and ensure smooth project flow.
3. Monitor project progress and report on milestones, risks, and potential delays.
4. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, inventory management, and status reports.
5. Support administrative tasks such as organizing and supporting meetings, townhalls, including scheduling, creating agendas, and following up on action items. Manage communication activities like newsletters, boards, photos, FAQs.
6. Identify and escalate project issues when necessary.
7. Assist with risk management, ensuring risks or potential problems are flagged and mitigated.
8. Manage other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Health, or related discipline required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or administration. Working towards PMP certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and leverage data to drive business recommendations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and project management software.
• Experience managing confidential or sensitive information.
