What You’ll Do
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing multi-family projects from start to finish to achieve a high level of IFOTIS, claim avoidance, and overall financial success. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships and keeping current on company products, sales procedures, and market conditions.
Responsibilities
Multi-Family Project Focus
Ensuring order specifications are accurate, signed off, and entered accurately and timely.
Support quoting tasks, cost control, and freight decisions.
Support customer relationship management.
Teamwork
Collaborate within cross-functional teams to keep management and customers up to date on shipping schedules.
Work with the outside sales team to drive sales by operating leads, proactively quoting, and following up on lead generation.
Work closely with the Outside Sales, Operations, Procurement, and supplier teams to satisfy customer needs and project close rates.
Achieve 95%+ IFOTIS rates through ownership of projects from vetting specifications to shipping and accounts receivable.
Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data.
Effectively represent Metrie’s interests when dealing with customers, the community, employees, and suppliers.
Qualifications
Understanding of the building industry and construction practices preferred.
High level of proficiency with web-based computer services.
Strong utilization and understanding of spreadsheets.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Prior CRM Tool training/use is an asset.
Prior sales/customer support experience is an asset.
Bachelor’s Degree.
