Position Scope

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Operations team by assisting the Project Manager in planning, developing, and coordinating large heavy construction and earthworks projects in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Field Coordinator will interpret plans and specifications, handle contract administration, project controls, and oversee construction activities. Where You'll Be Working

Site: Fort Hills

Shift: 14x7 - 12 hours/day

Camp Accommodations: Provided

Transportation: Flights provided to and from Calgary/Edmonton

Hourly Rate: $41.00 to $45.00

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, implement, and maintain project records
• Support resource, revenue forecasting, budgets, and cost reporting
• Report project concerns, issues, and performance to Project Managers
• Assist with bid preparations and respond to information requests
• Communicate with clients during project execution

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant technical field (construction, mining, civil engineering preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Field experience in heavy civil work is preferred

Summary

If selected for a site-based role, you will need to:

• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and provide a recent Driver’s Abstract
• Hold a valid CSO
• Be subject to random testing at Suncor, Fort Hills, and Kearl sites
• Pass pre-employment tests including breath alcohol, urine drug, fitness-to-work, audiometric, and vision screening
