Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a site-based Project Coordinator in Edmonton, AB. The role includes coordinating project scopes, managing vendor relationships, and providing updates on construction progress. Candidates should have strong communication skills, project management experience, and proficiency in MS Office. This is a fully onsite position with pay between $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
  • Required to obtain Federal Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Current and valid Canadian provincial drivers’ license.
  • Any training related to safety, quality and environmental programs such as ISO.
  • Education, training or experience in engineering or energy analysis is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support to identify, solicit and prequalify contractors and vendors.
  • Work with project team to ensure subcontracted scopes are delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinate tender document preparation and approvals.
  • Provide construction progress status updates.
  • Attend start up meetings, construction meetings, and project close-out meetings.

Project Coordinator Job Opportunity in Edmonton, AB

Out client currently has a new opportunity for a site-based Project Coordinator in Edmonton, AB.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support to identify, solicit and prequalify contractors and vendors to deliver project scopes.
  • Work with Ameresco Project Team to ensure subcontracted mechanical, electrical, HVAC & Controls scopes are delivered on schedule, and as per design intent and conformity.
  • Coordinate tender document preparation and approvals.
  • Coordinate RFIs, site instructions and shop drawings for review and submittal.
  • Provide site based Project Team with construction progress status updates and recommendations to mitigate risk to concerns with deliverables or schedule.
  • Support construction management activities through supervision and inspection of subcontractors to ensure quality assurance and to ensure the timely completion of deliverables and schedule.
  • Attend start up meetings, construction meetings, commissioning and project close-out meetings.
  • Analyze and reconcile project costs against construction schedules and purchase orders.
  • Lead project close-out documentation process and requirements.
  • Manage electronic documents on company server and file sharing sites; and
  • Perform other duties as required.
