Project Coordinator – Tilt-Up Warehouse Construction (Travel Across Canada)
Location: Various project sites across Canada
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 base salary + 15% travel uplift + $165/day living allowance + car rental covered.
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established national general contractor specializing in large-scale tilt-up warehouse and industrial projects valued between $30M and $60M. As the company continues to expand across Canada, we are seeking an ambitious Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating daily construction activities.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Support procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking for materials and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely communication across teams.
- Participate in site meetings, safety inspections, and progress reporting.
- Coordinate between field and office teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Contribute to project closeout documentation and lessons-learned reviews.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role with a general contractor.
- Exposure to tilt-up, industrial, or commercial construction essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Willingness to travel extensively across Canada (10 days on / 4 days off rotation).
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
