    Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch, a full-service consultancy, is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Systems Technician to join the Project Controls team in Vancouver, BC.

    This is a functional support role designed to grant exposure for the candidate across the project management, controls and leadership of the region, and to instill a solid foundation of project management and controls best practices. This role will offer great opportunities to learn through exposure to software product development practices; communication and marketing teams; and training content design and communication. The candidate will form part of a global network of support for project controls and project management.

    As the successful candidate you will:

    • Cultivate understanding of project management and controls tools functionality and how it integrates inside the Hatch ecosystem
    • Offer proactive functional support for project managers and controllers
    • Share tips, techniques and FAQs with relevant stakeholders
    • Identify potential future process and tool improvements
    • Record user feedback for future action by a wider team
    • Extract and analyse data for the purpose of driving adoption and compliance
    • Communicate and collaborate with regional and global team to achieve outcomes

    You bring to the role:

    • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma (there is no preferred area of expertise)
    • 0 to 2 years work experience, preferably in a team environment
    • Practical, structured thinking for efficient completion of tasks
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
