Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Engineer to join Qiddiya’s Tree Procurement Unit to perform scheduling and project control functions for a mega project near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
What You'll Be Doing (working with the QIC Horticulture team):
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
- Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule.
- Assess the impact(s) of delivery changes and schedule slippages.
- Report status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management as well to the client.
- Understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
- Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.
- Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Accumulate historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
- Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
- Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure comprehensive planning and risk management.
- Utilize Power BI to create and maintain dashboards for project tracking and reporting.
- Develop and maintain supply chain reporting to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Power BI and the creation of dashboards for project tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of supply chain reporting and management
