Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Engineer to join Qiddiya’s Tree Procurement Unit to perform scheduling and project control functions for a mega project near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What You'll Be Doing (working with the QIC Horticulture team):

1. Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
2. Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule.
3. Assess the impact(s) of delivery changes and schedule slippages.
4. Report status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management as well to the client.
5. Understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
6. Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.
7. Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
8. Accumulate historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
9. Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
10. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
11. Collaborate with project teams to ensure comprehensive planning and risk management.
12. Utilize Power BI to create and maintain dashboards for project tracking and reporting.
13. Develop and maintain supply chain reporting to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
2. 5+ years of related work experience
3. Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite
4. Experience with Power BI and the creation of dashboards for project tracking and reporting
5. Knowledge of supply chain reporting and management
