We are currently looking for a Project Controls / Contracts Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated Project Controls / Contracts Specialist to support our clients' Underground Department. This position will be responsible for directly managing a unit rate contract for their primary underground development and production contractor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an underground mining environment and the confidence to effectively manage, interpret, and enforce contractual terms. This role requires ensuring performance accountability through data analysis and a deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of underground operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and administer the unit rate contract for underground development and production.
Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contract terms and scope.
Review and defend against contractor claims, leveraging hands‑on underground experience.
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of costs, quantities, and productivity.
Collaborate closely with the Underground Department and site leadership to provide consistent project controls and contractual oversight.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all contract terms, deliverables, and obligations.

Work Location & Schedule

Preferred: Local candidate able to work on a 5x2 or 5x2/4x3 schedule for consistent on‑site support.
Camp accommodations provided.
