A leading company in the energy sector is seeking a Project Controller to provide essential project controls support for oil and gas projects across Western Canada. This role includes responsibilities from planning and scheduling to stakeholder communication, requiring a blend of technical expertise and proven management skills. The ideal candidate will possess significant industry experience and a relevant educational background, making them critical to the project's success.
Our Project Management group is currently looking to add a Project Controller to the team, based onsite across Western Canada. Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office, the Project Controller provides project controls and related services to support the Construction Manager through all stages of project execution, including engineering and design, construction, commissioning and completion.
The role is broad in scope and requires the successful applicant to be flexible and collaborative in their approach, applying attention to detail and proficiency in schedule, cost and project reporting, change management, stakeholder relations, communication management and document control. The successful applicant will be required to hit the ground running and be able to work utilizing existing systems and also be comfortable developing these and/ or new tools to meet project requirements as the need arises.
Please note: this is an hourly position and requires travel to client sites across Western Canada
