As the Project Billing Clerk, you’ll report to the Controller and play a key role in supporting the finance team by ensuring timely and accurate billing across various environmental projects. You will :

  • Prepare and issue project invoices
  • Conduct quality control on time entries submitted by staff
  • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Reconcile payments with the AR ledger
  • Assist with payroll, expense allocation, and other accounting functions
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve billing or coding discrepancies
  • Using Deltek Vantage Point for time and billing
  • Support general office administration when needed

TMGVC

  • 5+ years of experience in project accounting or billing
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and time / billing systems
  • Some exposure to full-cycle accounting would be an asset
  • Experience in the engineering, architectural, legal or professional services industries preferred
  • Preference given to those with good commute access to North Vancouver, Abbotsford or Prince George
  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Can manage multiple deadlines independently
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Are a collaborative team player with a solution-oriented mindset
