Job description

They are a medium-sized Communications Cabling contractor providing Fiber Optic and Copper cabling services throughout British Columbia. They are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support their Project Teams across Operations and Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule field technicians daily and ensure site documentation and materials are available.
  • Follow up on job progress and site reports.
  • Proactively problem solve and respond to site needs.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and direct appropriately.
  • Assist with procurement, receiving, and organization of project materials.
  • Maintain records of technical and safety training status for field staff and book new training as required.
  • Book travel and accommodation for out‑of‑town crews.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records for company service vehicles.
  • Maintain open communication with site personnel, general contractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English).
  • Knowledge of Adobe, Visio, or other platforms is an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
  • Must thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with the construction industry or trades is highly beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
