Job description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned Project Architect with 5-10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a complimentary addition to our design team, and capable of immediately playing an integral role in projects from schematic design through construction documentation.Experience with healthcare design projects and regulations is preferred.

Compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience; company benefits are exceptional.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all design phases of architectural projects, including design development and construction documentation.
  • Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to determine project objectives and requirements, providing professional guidance throughout the design process.
  • Design Development: Produce detailed architectural designs and plans utilizing Revit.
  • Team Coordination: Integrate with our in-office and consultant design teams, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, and ensure adherence to office standards, codes and regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Architectural education from an accredited institution with a degree required for potential licensure.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and commercial construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with collaborative project teams and managing client relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with healthcare design phase services.
  • Licensure as a Registered Architect in at least one state.
  • Significant experience with 3D rendering software and other digital design tools.
  • Experience with business development, marketing and networking.
