About the Roles

Throughline Strategy is seeking two experienced project and resource managers, one senior and one junior, from advertising or consulting agencies. These roles require blending project management expertise with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to deliver successful outcomes for clients and the team. You will be involved in high-impact insights, strategy, and medical education projects, contributing in the following ways:

  1. Project Leadership: Develop project plans, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, lead kickoffs, establish governance, and manage scope changes.
  2. Client Management: Serve as the primary contact, conduct status meetings, manage expectations, facilitate communication, and ensure quality and business requirements are met.
  3. Resourcing Management: Monitor team capacity, coordinate resources across projects, update timelines, manage workloads, and prepare resourcing reports for leadership.
  4. Team Coordination: Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
  5. Financial Oversight: Track profitability, manage expenses, monitor budgets, and analyze utilization metrics.
  6. Delivery & Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards, coordinate feedback, manage delivery processes, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project processes.
  8. Senior Role: Oversee all resourcing and project management functions and manage junior staff.
  9. Additional: Support workplace culture and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of project management or resourcing experience in an agency or consultancy serving external clients.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and business communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with shifting timelines and requirements.
  • Experience leading teams through ambiguity, mitigating risks, and managing client communications.
  • Passion for health-related work.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Netsuite, SPP, OpenAir, Smartsheet, G-Suite, MS Office, and digital collaboration tools. Experience with AI tools is desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada, with willingness to travel to the US and Europe if needed.
  • Full-time roles with potential travel, in a hybrid work environment based at Yonge and St. Clair.
