What You Will Be Doing:
- Scrum master: Manage and drive end-to-end sprint processes for various engineering teams, facilitate product managers and engineering managers to conduct sprint planning, clarify requirements, and prioritize tasks. Drive team stand-ups, monitor development progress, coordinate cross-team collaborations, organize QA testing, and drive bug resolution. Work with stakeholders to deliver new features and improvements on time and in high quality.
- Engineering operation metrics runner: Own and run metrics for the entire engineering team to monitor team and individual development productivity and support efficiency. Deliver and analyze metrics every sprint and drive improvement initiatives.
- QA testing coordinator: Coordinate QA efforts for engineering developments and bug fixing to meet system release schedules.
- System release scope controller: Keep track of system release scope based on engineers' progress and product managers' demands. Manage code cherry-picks, code branches, and ensure alignment with release schedules for quarterly main releases and hotfixes.
- Drive cross-team special engineering projects.
- System release facilitator and organizer: Own the release process, organize and oversee release activities, manage the engineering war room and customer service communications. Anticipate risks and communicate contingencies proactively.
- Incident response process driver: Handle communications and postmortems to mitigate future issues.
- Participate in regular status meetings, capture minutes, follow up on action items, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM discipline, or equivalent experience in a software environment.
- Hands-on experience with technical system operations.
- Experience with enterprise cloud software.
- Good understanding of agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum, and experience with Jira at an administrator level.
- Ability to decompose complex projects into trackable milestones.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese.

- Background in machine learning or data science.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, etc.) and big data infrastructure.
- Skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
