Project Administrator - Accounts Payable

As an experienced Project Administrator working in the Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will work closely with the project management team, various client groups, and subtrades to ensure project excellence through your outstanding leadership, keen eye for detail, and commitment to quality, health, and safety.

What You Will Do

  • Processing of AP invoices including obtaining correct signatures, performing receiving in the SAP system, and uploading approved invoice packages to the A/P SharePoint for payment.
  • Dealing with supplier demands via email or telephone.
  • Maintaining organized electronic documentation and filing.
  • Matching packing slips received from the field with purchase orders and invoices.
  • Responding to Project Managers and vendors regarding inquiries such as payment status.
  • Writing work procedures and performing other duties as required.
  • Driving an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of office-related experience with knowledge of accounts payable invoice processing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Experience using SAP is highly preferred.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability to busy schedules when required to meet deadlines.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $65,000 - $75,000. Salaries may vary depending on experience and location. Compensation is exclusive of bonuses and includes extensive employee benefits, which may vary by role.
