Job description

This 4-month contract summer student position will work closely with the Digital Optimization Specialist to support the ongoing development of our grocery eCommerce operations. This role will be responsible for auditing, updating, and maintaining creative assets across our eCommerce platforms in alignment with Farm Boy's brand standards. This role involves regular collaboration with store personnel, as well as a variety of teams within Farm Boy's Home Office. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers, and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing optimization and maintenance of Farm Boy's eCommerce platforms.
• Audit existing online product listings to identify images requiring updating, reshooting, or reconfiguration.
• Develop detailed imaging lists based on image audits, coordinating product requirements and availability within stores and Farm Boy Central Facilities.
• Collaborate closely with store/department personnel and Central Facility teams to proactively prepare items for imaging, managing limited space and time allocations.
• Organize, prepare, and photograph food products in accordance with platform-specific guidelines and Farm Boy quality standards.
• Edit and format images to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Maintain deadlines on deliverables, and communicate on an ongoing basis with internal business partners.
• May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a post-secondary program in Marketing, Hospitality, Photography, Communications, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, managing time effectively, with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with photo editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Work & Sensory Environment:

• May be required to perform physical tasks, including standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
• Required to travel extensively between Farm Boy stores, Home Office and/or Central Operations (must be flexible in terms of work schedule and location).
• Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
• Exposure to distractions caused by open office noise and frequent interruptions.
