Project Admin - eCommerce - Summer Student

This 4-month contract summer student position will work closely with the Digital Optimization Specialist to support the ongoing development of our grocery eCommerce operations. The role will be responsible for auditing, updating, and maintaining creative assets across our eCommerce platforms in line with Farm Boy’s brand standards. It involves regular collaboration with store personnel and various teams within Farm Boy’s Home Office. The duties must be performed in a manner that ensures quality service to all employees, customers, and suppliers, consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing optimization and maintenance of Farm Boy’s eCommerce platforms.
• Audit existing online product listings to identify images requiring updating, reshooting, or reconfiguration.
• Develop detailed imaging lists based on image audits, coordinating product requirements and availability within stores and Farm Boy Central Facilities.
• Collaborate closely with store/department personnel and Central Facility teams to prepare items for imaging, managing limited space and time.
• Organize, prepare, and photograph food products following platform-specific guidelines and Farm Boy quality standards.
• Edit and format images to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate regularly with internal partners.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Marketing, Hospitality, Photography, Communications, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, managing time effectively, with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with photo editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work & Sensory Environment:

• May involve physical tasks, including standing or walking for extended periods.
• Providing service to multiple departments, often working under tight deadlines.
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule and location, with potential travel between stores, the Home Office, and Central Operations.
• Possible exposure to eye strain from computer use.
• Exposure to distractions from open office noise and interruptions.
