Qualifications

• Post-secondary education completion, with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
• Strong communications skills, and previous experience working with senior management.
• Demonstrated competency in assessing, working through, and resolving issues related to project accounting.
• Demonstrated commitment to your ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

The primary function of this role is to provide accurate and timely project accounting functions for Construction and Equipment Division. This will be achieved primarily through:

• Preparing complex project accounting reports and maintaining ledgers for associated costs.
• Monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and reviewing project costs and expenditures.
• Preparing weekly and period project reports.
• Providing periodic variance reporting requirements.
• Responsible for gathering appropriate documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Providing support for additional finance functions such as financial analysis, corporate reporting, etc.
• Other ad-hoc requests as required.
