Job description

The Canada Programs Division of Everest Insurance Company of Canada a member of the Everest Group Ltd. is looking for a Programs Underwriter to join our Toronto office.

As a key member of Everest Canadas programs division and reporting to the VP Programs and Fronted Solutions you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of MGAs and Affinity Programs day-to-day underwriting operations program management and development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to continue to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth profitability and retentions

Review and Analyze Monthly Program Reports

Referral Management

MGA and broker relationship management

Training Development and Mentorship of Programs Underwriting Assistants

Special projects and other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Education & Experience :

Minimum 5 years Property / Casualty Underwriting

Strong oral and written communication analytical and computer skills.

Bilingual English and French preferred

Ability to maintain excellent relations with MGAs reinsurers and brokers providing superior service.

Team oriented and ability to work effectively with peers.

Strong prioritization skills to meet daily demand and deadlines to meet all service requirements.
