Our day to day revolved around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with gaming and entertainment giants like Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). Meanwhile, our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. Join us and be a part of the future of interactive entertainment!

At Behaviour Interactive, we believe in giving everyone a fair shot. We embrace a diverse and creative environment where everyone is celebrated. We value folks of all ages, sex, ethnicity, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, civil status, disability, or any other protected characteristics as per applicable law.

Are you ready to contribute to the creation of enjoyable gaming experiences? As a Programming Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our games and leading the way with strategic decisions. As a Team Lead, you'll lead a team of around 10 Programmers, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to the table.

In this role you will:
  • Lead and manage a dedicated programming team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across multiple SKUs in a live environment.
  • Develop and implement schedules, efficiently distributing tasks and resources within the programming team.
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate the team's work, providing guidance to meet project objectives.
  • Assist in estimating project timelines, committing to deliverables, and supporting the team in overcoming technical challenges.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external clients, producers, directors, designers, and artists.
  • Offer hands-on support with programming tasks when required and perform additional duties as needed to ensure project success.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience leading and managing programming teams in game production.
  • You shipped at least one game as a Lead Programmer or Team Lead, and have a proven track record of shipping games as a Programmer on PC and/or consoles.
  • Strong C++ programming background, enabling you to challenge and support technical decisions.
  • You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize work, and adhere to deadlines.
  • A real understanding of video game production and the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the other professionals involved in production.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Nice to have:
  • Expertise in working on AAA games, ideally throughout the entire production life cycle.
  • Experience with Unreal.

If you're ready to take your programming leadership to the next level and be a driving force in delivering unparalleled gaming experiences, we want to hear from you! Join us in shaping the future of gaming and crafting the imaginary into play!
