Linamar Corporation in Canada is seeking a Programming Engineer to design, develop, and support software and systems that optimize manufacturing and engineering operations. You will own key applications and drive performance improvements across production, quality, and automation systems.

Strong experience in C#, .NET, APIs, and SQL, plus understanding of MES and shop floor data, will help you deliver real-time analytics, dashboards, and integrated plant solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in software or systems development.
• Strong programming experience (C#, .NET, APIs, web-based frameworks).
• Experience with database design and SQL/database optimization.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and business workflows.
• Experience with troubleshooting and supporting live systems.
• Experience with manufacturing systems (MES, shop floor systems) is an asset.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems and data integration is an asset.
• Experience with real-time production data and analytics is an asset.
