Programmer Analyst

Position: Programmer Analyst

Location: Fredericton, NB (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract + Possible Extension

Mandatory Requirements:

1. University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
2. Application programming and analysis experience.
3. Resource must be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
4. Demonstrated experience with CA Gen version 8.5 or higher.

Secondary Requirements:

1. Strong problem-solving skills, including analyzing a current, possibly sub-optimal solution and proposing a better alternative that can be implemented within a given timeframe and/or other system constraints.
2. Demonstrated experience with JBoss and/or Tomcat.
3. Demonstrated experience with service management processes and tools (e.g., incident, change, request, release management).
4. Demonstrated experience with SSRS.
5. Demonstrated experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
6. Demonstrated experience with SQL.
7. Experience with version control software.
8. Experience with public sector health care applications and/or systems support in any province or jurisdiction in Canada.
