Job summary

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) in Toronto offers a temporary role within the Power System Development unit. The position focuses on program management, Indigenous relations, and stakeholder engagement to support Ontario's energy initiatives.

Hybrid/onsite work in Toronto is expected with a structured pay grid and progression between Step 1 and Step 3. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years leading energy programs, strong contract and RFP experience, and a solid understanding of

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience leading programs or projects in the energy sector, with Indigenous relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Indigenous communities, history, culture and treaty relationships; ability to engage with Indigenous organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage program rules, participant contracts, partner contracts, and budgets.
• Lead RFP development, evaluation, and contract development with vendors.
• Drive program launches, improvements, and contract compliance; support counterparty negotiations.
