The Program Manager, Winning Culture designs, develops, promotes, maintains & manages culture and employee experience-related solutions, performing periodic reviews, analyzing engagement and feedback, providing insights and making recommendations for enhancements/changes as required. These programs and initiatives focus on providing culture enablers and employee experience enhancements for managers, teams and employees aligned to our Purpose, Values, strategic priorities and business objectives, to reinforce desired mindsets and behaviours of our engaged and winning culture.

The Program Manager ensures the effective & efficient execution of all deliverables and reporting. They also work across internal and external stakeholders, to contribute to successful business outcomes of integrated program or project deliverables, from initiation to implementation and ongoing sustainment. Supports/defines the strategic direction, governance design, program design and execution of Winning Culture & Employee Listening programs at BMO. Completes specific strategic & operational work to deliver business results and/or minimize risk.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor.
  • Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
  • Identifies internal and/or external emerging issues, trends and needs to inform business strategies & decisions.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans.
  • Provides input to the development of the program strategy and contributes to and continually improves principles, process and tools.
  • Manages relationships with outside service providers for programs and ensure all required activities are completed.
  • Provides advanced analytical and other project support in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of policies and programs.
  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Monitors and tracks program performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Provides analytical support & recommends program design solutions, including manipulating data, preparing funding & forecasting models, preparing scenarios, developing preliminary results and monitoring variances to plan for various total reward programs.
  • Participates in / coordinates industry benchmarking processes that allow for better understanding of BMO’s program in relation to comparators.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Builds alignment between stakeholders.
  • Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary :

$75,900.00 - $141,900.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
