We are looking for a Structures Program Manager to join our team. The goal of a Structures Program Manager at Wisk is to ensure that the Integrated Product team (IPT) is executing according to their cost, schedule, and scope. You will be part of the Structures Integrated Product team that is in charge of developing and certifying the Wisk vehicle’s composite airframe.

This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Montreal office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days.

In this role you will partner with the IPT Lead to develop, certify and deliver products, and focus on ensuring the objectives of our business case are met. We need a Program Manager to own the tracking of the overall delivery of the program, scope management, program financials, as well as supplier selection and management. You will support the IPT Lead in developing a vision and roadmap for the product, and subsequently in planning and delivering technical solutions that support Wisk’s business goals. You will coordinate and communicate with all required functions & partners within and outside of Wisk to ensure program success. You will leverage Wisk’s hybrid approach, which leverages waterfall techniques for strategic planning and agile execution methods.

Ce Que Vous Ferez (What You Will Do)

• You will act as the voice of the program to share program needs with their IPT.
• You will oversee the planning and delivery of the Gen6 Program for their assigned IPT products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistency across the program.
• You will be responsible for interfacing with all functions across the company to ensure the IPT stays on budget and schedule against program need dates while ensuring data is available to make good decisions.
• You will assist in monitoring the governance, managing suppliers, tracking tier 1 milestones, mitigating risks, and driving decision closure.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of program management experience in Aerospace or similar industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with scrum / agile methodologies and JIRA task management
• Knowledge of complex, highly coupled aircraft systems or avionics systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across organizational levels.
• Prior experience working with regulatory agencies, such as the FAA or EASA, to obtain certification for novel aircraft systems is desirable.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer and project meetings.
• You are a highly motivated, self starting individual with a broad set of skills and never afraid of facing complex challenges
• You are a solution oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset
• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communications to suit the audience
• You can adapt quickly or propose changes needed to achieve early results in a timely fashion
• You embrace challenges and take commitments and deliver results within reasonable expectations
• You are a positive team player with an open mindset
• Familiarity with composites, aircraft structure, or aircraft interiors
• Experience with Aircraft Development Product Life Cycle from PDR to Entry into Service
