We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Program Manager, RN, to support our staff in Toronto. In this role, you will lead a team of nurses, oversee clinical education, and ensure compliance with legislation and standards. Job Responsibilities

  1. Motivate, direct, and coach RNs and RPNs to ensure high quality of care that consistently meets organizational standards.
  2. Collaborate with operations leadership to implement and sustain exemplary operational practices.
  3. Address quality, safety, and risk management issues, including developing improvement plans.
  4. Collect and assess key performance indicators for the programs and initiate quality improvement or process changes as needed.
  5. Lead program development and design clinical workflows supporting new models of care delivery for target populations, in collaboration with the operations leadership team and system partners.
  6. Prepare monthly schedules for nursing field staff, understanding available resources for the program/service, and prioritize quality in resource utilization decisions.
  7. Lead or assist with client satisfaction initiatives; ensure that all client concerns and complaints are addressed and documented promptly.
  8. Develop educational initiatives and support ongoing development of nursing teams.
  9. Support the development of best practice champions within the nursing team.

Qualifications

  • Current CNO registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN); degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities in a supervisory role, preferably in a community setting.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment.
  • Solid knowledge of community nursing principles, practices, and methods, including program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle.
