About Us
The Incarnate Word Foundation champions social justice by supporting communities through strategic grantmaking and innovative programs. New Treasures is a newly launched initiative aimed at uncovering and nurturing emerging opportunities for impact, with an emphasis on relationship-building and creative engagement within Catholic and philanthropic communities.

Position Overview
The New Treasures Program Manager will manage and grow this dynamic philanthropic initiative through outreach, collaboration, and program development. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of community engagement and grantmaking, and the ability to effectively market and promote the program.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with community leaders, leaders of Catholic congregations of women and men religious, potential grantees, and other philanthropic collaborators
  • Serve as a connector between diverse stakeholders, fostering trust and shared vision

Prospect Engagement & Stewardship

  • Identify and qualify prospective partners and grantees through intentional outreach
  • Manage consistent, relationship-centered follow-up to maintain engagement
  • Track and document partner and prospect interactions
  • Coordinate logistics and communications with the New Treasures Advisory Board

Marketing Strategy & Communications

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement for New Treasures
  • Collaborate on storytelling initiatives to highlight program successes and grantee experiences
  • Coordinate print, digital, and in-person engagement campaigns

Grantmaking Program Design & Management

  • Contribute to the design and management of flexible, equity-driven grantmaking frameworks responsive to community needs
  • Manage grant timelines, reporting deliverables, and internal systems related to New Treasures
  • Evaluate proposals, recommend funding decisions, and ongoing grantee support
  • Monitor program outcomes and ensure alignment and compliance with Foundation values, impact metrics, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in program development, philanthropy, and/or nonprofit management
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Catholic Sisters, Brothers, and other religious communities
  • Understanding of Catholic social teaching and values
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A creative and discerning eye for identifying promising opportunities
  • Passion for social justice, inclusion, and community empowerment
  • Experience in development, fundraising, or advancement

Expectations & Compensation
This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Hybrid work options are available. Some evening or weekend outreach may be expected, as well as overnight travel. Salary range $65,000 – $75,000.
