Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Acceleration, the Program Manager will play a key role in supporting Canada’s leading cleantech ventures on their path to commercialization and growth. This position combines program delivery, partner engagement, and venture support, offering the opportunity to work closely with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and ecosystem collaborators. You will coordinate and facilitate Acceleration programs, drive meaningful connections, and ensure ventures have access to the training, resources, and networks they need to succeed.

You are passionate about cleantech innovation and enjoy collaborating with a wide range of partners to create real-world impact. You will have the chance to shape program offerings, lead engaging sessions, and play a visible role in building a vibrant cleantech ecosystem.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
This program management role involves recruiting, facilitating, and overseeing Foresight’s Acceleration programs, working closely with ventures at various stages of growth, and includes responsibilities such as:
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Foresight’s Acceleration programs, ensuring an engaging and impactful experience for participating ventures
Manage the full lifecycle of program initiatives, including scheduling, communications, reporting, and engagement with program participants and collaborators
Serve as an enthusiastic and confident facilitator for webinars, workshops, and virtual sessions via Zoom, including breakout room management, participant engagement, and coordination with speakers and partners
Recruit and onboard high-potential ventures into Foresight’s programs, supporting companies at varying stages of growth
Attend networking events and support relationship-building activities that enhance Foresight’s presence in the cleantech ecosystem
Contribute to the design, iteration, and implementation of Foresight’s Acceleration programs
Collaborate with Executives-in-Residence (EIRs), guest speakers, and other contributors to deliver high-quality programming and ensure alignment with Foresight’s strategic objectives
Maintain regular touch-points with program participants, gathering feedback and preparing materials such as presentations, surveys, and resources, then acting on insights to continuously enhance the program experience
Support the planning and execution of ecosystem events, such as roundtables, showcases, and workshops that build community, foster collaboration, and highlight cleantech innovation
Perform additional duties as required to ensure the success of ventures and Acceleration programming
Experience:
Demonstrated experience managing projects or programs involving diverse participants and collaborators, with strong organizational and coordination skills
Skilled in virtual facilitation, with expertise in using Zoom to manage sessions, breakout rooms, and professional online interactions
Comfortable and enthusiastic about virtual and in-person public speaking, with the ability to confidently lead sessions, facilitate discussions, and engage diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience cultivating and maintaining professional relationships that generate collaboration and new opportunities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment, exercising sound judgment and approaching challenges with creativity and strategic thinking
Highly organized, with proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight timelines
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, commerce, science, social science) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
