We have an opening for a Program Manager, Distribution in our Burnaby office.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall execution of underground/overhead electrical distribution design projects and programs (4kV to 25kV)
- Accountable for the on-budget and on-schedule delivery of concurrent electrical distribution projects while maintaining a high degree of quality.
- Coordinate work and communication among internal team members as well as external partners and stakeholders.
- Mentorship and development of Engineers, Technologists, Drafting and Project Managers on the team.
- Coordination with customers, municipal authorities, other utilities, and various project stakeholders for project execution.
- Project schedule, cost and communication management, and reporting.
- Clearly communicate with clients and project stakeholders to mitigate project risks and expectations.
- Work with the team to seek out, develop, and maintain relationships with clients.
- Project level quoting, planning, design, and project management as required.
- Off-site meetings and site checks as required.
- Analyze and produce financial and schedule reporting for projects as needed.
- Project acquisition, sales, and customer relationship building.
- Peer mentoring and training with other team members.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized college or university.
- PMP designation through PMI Institute (recommended).
- Electrical distribution, substation, or transmission design experience (both underground and overhead).
- Experience with regional power providers is an asset (BC Hydro, Fortis BC)
- Class 5 driver’s license.

Salary Range: $36.00 to $55.00 per hour
