Job summary

Astek Canada is seeking a Program Manager to lead a strategic Data Governance and Data Retention program for a major client. You will coordinate business and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives.

Your day-to-day will include leading a multidisciplinary team, aligning stakeholders with data governance objectives, managing communications and change initiatives, and building strong relationships with business and IT partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of project and program management experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating other Project Managers.
• Experience with matrix resource management.
• Experience delivering data-related projects.
• Understanding of data warehousing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team including PMs and PCOs.
• Ensure alignment with data governance strategic objectives.
• Managing communications and organizational change initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining integrated plans, schedules, budgets, and dependencies.
• Managing risks, issues, and performance indicators.
• Supporting the transition of deliverables to operational teams.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of project and program management experience
• Experience leading or coordinating other Project Managers
• Experience with matrix resource management
• Experience delivering data-related projects
• Understanding of data warehousing technologies
