CIFAR is currently hiring for the role of Program Manager, AI & Safety. This is a full-time, 15-month contract role.

This position is based in a hybrid work environment at the CIFAR office located in the MaRs Discovery building in Toronto, ON. Employees are expected to work in the office three days a week to facilitate in-person collaboration and flexibility.

Purpose of the Position:

The Program Manager, AI & Safety, will be instrumental in developing, managing, and overseeing the Canadian AI Safety Institute (CAISI) research program at CIFAR. The role involves contributing to a national research agenda on AI safety, influencing a field that intersects science, society, and policy.
